Today we wrote a quiz on the verb aller.  The next verb quiz will be on Wednesday of next week.  It will be on the following three verbs: aller, avoir être in the affirmatif and the negatif. 
Today we also talked about note book organization and completion of all sheets.  In order for each students to receive the best participation mark possible, they must have their workbooks in order and all sheets must be completed.    Most student still have worksheets to complete. 

In the second block we worked with the Duolingo French program.  This is another way that students can improve their presentation mark.  Their progress is monitored and this is a program they can work on outside the classroom.

Today in French class we reviewed ir verbs, there is a quiz tomorrow.   We also completed page 39 in the livre and page 37 cahier.
In the second half we worked on Duolingo and also spent some time on the powerpoint presentation for the unit.

There will be a quiz on ir verbs on Friday.  We will practice these verbs again tomorrow.  Also on Friday, the Autumne booklet will be due for homework.  There is no French class on Thursday.
We also worked on the presentation posters.  No new homework was assigned today.

Today in French 8, we reviewed the verb aller in the affirmatif and the negatif.   There will be a quiz on this verb  on Thursday first thing.
The homework on aller was due today.  Any students who did not finish will have an incomplete mark until it is completed and checked.
We also reviewed classroom commands, and adjectives. 

français 8, vendredi, le 4 octobre

Today in French 8 we introduced the verb aller and explored some worksheets relating to that verb.  These sheets will be due on Tuesday for a homework mark.  Late penalties apply if they are not complete in time for the homework check.  The review tests were handed back today and corrections were made.  I was happy to see that all students passed, and that most students scored 75% or higher.
Keep up the good work and study.  There will be a verb quiz on the verb aller next Friday.   Bon weekend à tous!

français 9, mardi et mércredi, le 2, 3, octobre

On Tuesday, we started the posters for our final evaluation on our en plein air unit. 
On Wednesday,  the re verb quizzes were handed back.  There are many quizzes and they all add up, so please keep up the regular study each week!  We continued in the unit with some worksheets and also completed a reading that emphasized pronunciation aspects.
For the second half, we continued on the posters as per the checklist that was handed out.  This poster will not be due until sometime the week after next.

français 8, mardi le 2 octobre

In French 8 we wrote the quiz on être and various vocabulary.  we also worked on our Rentrée booklet and practiced numbers vingt à trente.  No homework was assigned.
