Français 8, vendredi, le 15, novembre

Today we finished our unit on friendship and will begin a new unit next week.  We also worked on our er verb drawing assignment.   The er verb drawing is due on Monday for full marks.    On Tuesday we will be doing our er verb quiz from phase two.  Bon weekend a tous!

Français 9, vendredi, le 16, novembre

In French 9 we continued to discuss passé composé concepts and completed a sheet in the new unit.  Cahier page 102 partie B, which should be complete for Monday.  The homework;  Pour Aller Plus Loin was due today for full marks.  Student away today will be responsible for it on Monday for full marks.  There will be a verb quiz on regular passé verbs on  Thursday next.   Bon weekend a tous!

Français 9, vendredi, le 15, novembre

Today was an important day in regards to verb tenses.  Any student who was absent needs to get caught up asap.  We introduced verbs using the passé composé form.  We completed some worksheets based on these concepts.  We also reviewed de, de la, des, and de grammar uses.   Last, we started on our new unit, which is focussed on the topic of music.  There is also a new seating arrangement for the class which will be in effect for the next three weeks at least.  The homework sheet handed out on Tuesday, is due tomorrow.

In French 9 today, we completed some unit listening activities.    For the last 20 minutes, we worked on our unit presentations which are due Wednesday, but some students will be presenting tomorrow as per their own preference.  These presentations serve as a big part of the mid-term evaluation and everyone should make sure their, content, pronunciation and grammar is correct. before presenting  Each student is equipped with a checklist to make sure they don't miss anything.  Bonne chance.

Today in French 8, we worked on some 'er' verb concepts and completed a few work sheets.  These sheets should be done for Monday.  We also reviewed numbers from 1 to 50 playing a loto activity.  There was no homework assigned but there the presentation is next week and this is am important part of the mid term mark.  Students should be ready to present for November 6th.  Bon weekend à tous!
