Français 9, lundi, le vingt-neuf, octobre

Today, I handed out the sheet that has all the questions that will be asked on Wednesday for the oral exam.    Students need to be able to answer these questions in complete sentences to get the best marks possible.  We also reviewed commands with verb sentences without pro nouns.
There is only two weeks left until reports.  Students that have incomplete work need to get that finished in order to get their marks up.   I am available every day at lunch. 

Français 8, lundi, le vingt-neuf, octobre

In French 8 today we spent some more time on possessive pro-nouns.  We completed some exercises and tasks relating to the concepts.  The speaking test will be on Thursday so it is important that students review the sheet that was handed out last week. 

Français 8, vendredi, le vingt-six, octobre

In French 8 today we wrote a quiz on les verbes irreguliers.  Next we worked on mon, ma, mes concepts.  To be caught up, students should have completed up to 5 on the second sheet handed out after the quiz on Monday.  We will go over it.  Bon weekend tout le monde.

Français neuf, vendredi, le vingt-six, octobre

In French 9 today we marked the quizzes and completed some pages in the unit.  The speaking test will be on October 1st.  The Unit presentations are due on November 7th.  Bonne weekend tout le monde!

Français 8, le 25, octobre

Yesterday, we completed a pre-test in preparation for our verb quiz tomorrow on aller, avoir, faire and être.  This will be the last verb quiz of this term. 
The class also got started on their powerpoint presentations.

Français 9, jeudi, le 25 octobre

In French 9 today we began work on our power point presentations and completed a quiz on oir verbs.  This will be the last quiz until next term.  Re-writes are still in effect for another week or until report card marks are due.  We also reviewed comparatif and superlatif concepts but completing page 41 and 42 in our units.  I expect these sheets to be complete for tomorrow.

Français 9, lundi le 22 october

Today we had a Work Safe assembly so there were no new assignments.  However, there will be a oir verb quiz later in the week on Thursday or Friday.  Also, the homework from last day is due tomorrow and it will be checked at the beginning of the class.  On this assignment students were required to answer at least 10 questions off of last years oral test.  They should be ready to discuss these in a conversation scenario.  Further, the mid-term oral test will be in a couple weeks and the questions will be similar, but not exactly the same as the questions due for homework tomorrow.
